WIN Waste Seneca County (formerly Sunny Farms Landfill) is a fully permitted and licensed subtitle D landfill operating in accordance with federal and Ohio Environmental Protection Agency regulations within the Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca Joint Solid Waste Management District.
Any individual or business can dispose of waste at the landfill as long as the waste meets our acceptance criteria and gains approval. We service both local and out-of-state customers by truck and rail.
Materials
Accepted Materials: municipal solid waste, construction and demolition debris, soils and certain specialty wastes
For impacted soils and other specialty wastes, material profiles must be received and reviewed prior to approval for shipment to the landfill.
Prohibited Materials: whole or shredded tires, yard waste, batteries, CFC appliances, liquid paints, and hazardous and infectious waste
